I agree living overseas not only is it hard to find certain ingredients, but they are quite expensive too. And there are actually more variety of premade mixes and pastes overseas too, and they are pretty good! I'm always tempted to try so many of them :)
@Ting: Thanks Ting!Fern @ To Food With Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02903042438059873364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494710691845123649.post-50529571617309940092011-12-26T10:36:27.759+11:002011-12-26T10:36:27.759+11:00what a great idea using coke to soak the eggs, def...what a great idea using coke to soak the eggs, definitely I will give a try!Ting's Desolacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03084049291066583310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494710691845123649.post-73346873784055079982011-12-25T19:46:20.653+11:002011-12-25T19:46:20.653+11:00Chanced upon your blog when I was searching for ot...Chanced upon your blog when I was searching for otak-otak recipe using Thai red curry paste!

Your recipes are great! We stay in UAE and it's not easy finding Msian-style food. And yes, they will be pricey too. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes. I like recipes from overseas Msians/Sporeans because we always have problems finding certain ingredients and your recipes make use of stuff generally found overseas. :)katCLhttp://suum-cuique.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7494710691845123649.post-26779162809937002122011-12-25T03:51:07.811+11:002011-12-25T03:51:07.811+11:00I've bookmarked this recipe from a Chinese sit...I've bookmarked this recipe from a Chinese site last year.
